Critical Study
Abstract
Judith Butler’s work is widely acknowledged as a crucial contribution to gender studies. In this review article, we aim to show that her philosophical contribution is significantly broader, if one takes into account her critical interpretation of Hegel, and deserves a basic discussion with regard to its ethical aim and her view of the good life.
