Protestantism and Philosophy

Pierre Thévenaz

Abstract

In this conference, given in the first months of 1944 before the association “The Friends of Protestant Thought,” Pierre Thévenaz examins the various aspects of the title of his talk before analyzing the prejudgments as well as the judgments of Protestant theologians, including Karl Barth, with regard to philosophy, before moving to his own constructive proposal of an ongoing, never finished dialogue between theology and philosophy.
