Labor and Its Purposes – Introductory Remarks
Abstract
This introductory article seeks to uncover some basic questions related to a Christian theology of labor, as conditions and realities of “labor” continue to evolve rapidly in many regions of the world. Decades after the contribution of Jacques Ellul and other thinkers, thinking about “labor” remains a significant desideratum, notably in order to consider its meaning(s) and limits.
