Marc Boegner biographe de Tommy Fallot
Quelques remarques
Abstract
Marc Boegner devoted two books to his uncle Tommy Fallot, a pioneer in the Social Gospel in France. This article first sheds light on the method Boegner used to depict his “spiritual father,” namely the use a plethora of quotations on the grounds that he wanted to “allow Fallot himself to speak.” Secondly, it offers several examples illustrating how Boegner narrated the main aspects of Fallot’s life and thought.
