Comment les historiens et publicistes français ont parlé de Luther au XIXe siècle et dans le premier tiers du XXe siècle
Abstract
This article investigates how French historians and publicists of the nineteenth and early twentieth century spoke of Luther On the one hand, they emphasised the revolutionary step undertaken by Luther who, by his attack on thepapacy, would open thegate for the questioning of other authorities. On the other hand, they sought to understand Luther by his German context, or emphasised his influence on German history.
